Make Polluters Pay with Resilient Palisades, featuring members of their group who lost their homes or were displaced by the LA fires and are advocating for a Polluters Pay Climate Superfund in California.
California Climate Superfund
Since the start of 2025, we've seen more than $250 billion in damages from the Los Angeles wildfires. In addition to that, in the last 5 years prior, California has faced more than $50-100 billion in damages for extreme weather events like atmospheric rivers, unprecedented winters, and other wildfires. We only expect that number to go up. The companies who are responsible for these climate-fueled disasters should be the ones to pay for the damages, not California residents.
